This course is arranged to expose students to conceptual realms of drawing media, expanding its boundaries and experiment with other forms of art. Emphasis is placed on the individual and group practice in the studio, to dive deeper into the process and theory of drawing, focus on the temporality and corporality of the process. For many artists and designers, drawing is the way to extend their thoughts and ideas into real world – an authentic tool for translating invisible mind into something visible the quickest and easiest way possible. How could drawing be used in their own artistic (mostly related to plastic material) practice? How this originally flat medium could expand into space? Can
drawing be three-dimensional? What can we consider to be drawing? Students will approach these and other questions in experimental way through their individual and group drawings, short assignments and exercises.
